Senior Shipping Executive (tradenet certified)

• Basic Salary up to $3,800 with yearly increment based on performance.

• 5.5 days work week (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm)/ Alternate Saturday, 9am to 1pm

Job Description:

This is a full time role for a Senior Shipping Executive located in Senoko Drive.

Our client is creating a new and sustainable way of supplying fresh fruit and vegetables to Singapore and you'll be responsible for preparing shipping documents for imports, ensuring compliance with Singapore’s regulations and international trade standards. It requires timely coordination with suppliers, logistics providers, and the Procurement team to prevent delays or additional charges. Responsibilities include tracking shipments, resolving issues, optimizing shipping processes, and negotiating freight rates. The position also handles administrative tasks, maintains accurate records for compliance, and collaborates with Logistics and Purchasing teams to align inventory with shipping schedules. Staying updated on industry trends and regulations is essential to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in supply chain management and logistics.
• 3 years of relevant experience in food service or supply chain management within the manufacturing industry.
• Possess Tradenet Certification.
• Proficiency in using shipping software and tools.
• Knowledge and familiar with shipping term, shipping documentation and L/C preparation and negotiation.
