Software and Applications Developer

Key Responsibilities:
The primary work comprises the following:
• Work on project execution and interact with business and technology teams.
• Create documents for the technical components, jobs required and update configuration details in Confluence.
• Analyse issues reported in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve.
• Support Non-Function Testing performed by the Performance Testing team. Ensure environment availability and support queries from the testing team.
• Baseline configuration objects for SIT, UAT and Production implementation.
• Implementation and rollout support for post-implementation fixes and warranty support.
• Support Production Support or L3 Support team to resolve issues.

Key Requirements:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 9 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a Finance Institution.

Essential:
• You must be an experienced developer with good experience in system integration/interfacing.
• You will typically be assigned to work on specific projects and are expected to support the Application Delivery.
• Manager (ADM) in all relevant technical matters, end-to-end, within the project.
• Depending on the project, your duties may include coding, scripting, building new systems (where necessary) and interfaces. For a new system build-up, you may need environmental support during SIT/UAT.
• You are expected to ensure your work is adequately documented and transferred to the production team post-cutover.
• You will be expected to work with the senior developers and system architect in formulating technical solutions that are fit for purpose for your assigned projects. The solution will need to satisfy all security, regulatory and architectural standards.

Technical Skills:

• UNIX / Red Hat Linux support, Shell Scripting, Oracle SQL
• Knowledge of Java
• Hands-on experience on JIRA, Confluence and Bit Bucket
