Software Engineer

Salary: $4500 to $6500 (depends on experience)

Working Days: 5 Days (8am/8.30am - 5.30pm/6pm)

Work Location: Yishun Industrial Park A (Canberra MRT) / Have company transport

Role:
As a Software Engineer, you will be required to maintain and manage applications of current and developing technology, and undertake engineering design, development, and operation of SPI solutions, factory line solutions, and their associated modules and configurable options with a strong focus on quality.

Job scope

• Provide correct solution for current production units and those of the same class present in the field
• Maintain focus on quality when challenged with urgent customer requests/bugs
• Maintain a balance between functional design and time to market, ensuring maintainability and scalability
• Responsible for the selection and implementation of design concepts to translate to productionised products
• Provide evidence of appropriate solution for customers via technical reviews
• Undertake continual professional development including both personal and technical competencies
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in the design and validation of engineering requirements
• Experience in Source Control Systems, Software Development Lifecycle, Object-Orientated Programming and UML
• Proficient in C++ programming language, UML and appropriate usage of design patterns
• Proficient knowledge in at least one core area of equipment software
• Experience in hardware and real time control systems, design patterns, Visual Studio, C++, GIT, Unit Testing, Dependency Injection and/or WPF will be advantageous
