Sourcing Executive

Job Responsibilities:

1.Participate in new product development process, source new product’s supplier and price.
2. Maximize sourcing capability by conducting continuous research in the material origin, production advantage and any other factors that may lead to locate potential suppliers.
3. Ensure supply base optimization and cost competitiveness, quality and service by sourcing and evaluating new suppliers of existing products
4. Sourcing machines and equipment to fulfil production plant’s needs.
5. Initiate continuous improvement of efficiency of sourcing process.
6. Prepare and submit department reports timely and accurately
7. Any ad-hoc duties assigned

Education Required:
▪Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline

Experience Required:
▪ At least 2 years of experience of sourcing experience, preferably in construction / engineering industry
Competencies and Skills Required
▪ Able to read technical drawings
▪ Understand sourcing methodology and approach
▪ Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
▪ Resourceful with good analytical capabilities
▪ Possess effective organizational and follow up skills, attentive to details
▪ Demonstrate ability to handle work professionally, independently and efficiently
