Sourcing Executive | Up to $4k | 5 Days | Sembawang
Location: Gambas Cres
Working Days: Mon-Friday , 5 working days
Working hours : 9am-6pm
Salary : $3,500 to $4,000 (depends on experience)
Job Scopes & Responsibilities
- Identifying and Evaluating Suppliers – Research and analyze potential suppliers, considering factors like pricing, quality, reliability, and delivery capabilities.
- Negotiating Contracts – Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, payment terms, and contract clauses.
- Managing Supplier Relationships – Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain and optimize sourcing strategies.
- Ensuring Compliance – Adhere to all relevant regulations and internal policies related to procurement and sourcing.
- Collaborating with Internal Teams – Work with other department, such as Sales, Finance, and Operations, to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
- Developing and Implementing Sourcing Strategies – Propose and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings, improve quality, and ensure timely delivery.
- Supporting Engineering - Collaborate with R&D and product teams to source materials and components for new product launches, ensuring supplier readiness and alignment with product specs including sourcing alternatives and inventory strategies to reduce operational disruption.
- Cost Analysis - Perform detailed cost analysis to identify savings opportunities and ensure sourcing initiatives stay within budget.
Requirement:
- Must be technically inclined and familiar with mechanical accessories and components.
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 3-4 years of working experience in relevant field.
- Working experience in semi-conductor environment an advantage.
- Able to read and understand both 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
- Able to read and understand BOM and source accessories and components accordingly.
