Supervisor

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Baker Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in producing a variety of cakes and pastries, as well as managing daily shopfront operations.

This is a demanding but rewarding role, best suited for someone who is passionate about the craft of baking and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a wide range of high-quality cakes, pastries, and other baked goods
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, quality control, and compliance with health and safety standards
• Manage the shopfront, including inventory management, customer service, and staff coordination
• Train and supervise junior baking and shop staff
• Maintain consistency in taste, appearance, and product quality
• Collaborate with the team on new product development and seasonal offerings
• Handle extended working hours, particularly during peak periods or special events

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in baking and shopfront management
• Proven expertise in baking cakes and pastries
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
