SUPERVISOR AND GENERAL FOREMAN

1) On site supervision: Managing and coordinating the daily activities of pipefitters, welders and other workers.

2) Safety enforcement: Conducting regular safety meetings and inspections inclouding toolbox meeting,to enforce all health,safety and environment protocols.

3) Quality control: Inspecting all work to ensure it meets technical specifications,codes and Industry standards.

4) Planning and scheduling: Preparing work plans, allocating manpower,equipment and materials to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.

5) Coordination and Communication: Liasing with project managers and clients to resolve issues and ensure seamless project execution.

6) Reporting and documentation: Preparing and submitting daily progress reports. Managing and overseeing documentation for quality assurance.

7) Problem-Solving: Addressing on-site issues, technical discrepancies and projects variations as they arise.

8) Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the marine industry such as shipbuilding is often necessary.

9) Leadership skills: The ability to effectively lead, motivate and manage a team to achieve project goals.

10) Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed to coordinate with teams and to report to management.
