IT System Analyst

Job Summary:

As an IT System Analyst, you will work closely with business teams, directly engage with clients, and manage vendors to ensure smooth delivery of IT solutions. You will analyse business requirements, design and optimize system solutions, and support software development and deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals. This role is suited for professionals with 1-3 years of relevant experience and strong client-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyse business requirements by collaborating directly with clients and internal stakeholders
• Manage and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of IT services and solutions
• Translate business needs into detailed system requirement specifications (SRS)
• Participate in system design, testing, deployment, and support activities
• Prepare and maintain system documentation, including requirements documents and user guides
• Assist development teams in requirement clarification and troubleshooting
• Provide training and post-implementation support to clients
• Continuously improve existing systems to enhance efficiency and user experience

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience as an IT System Analyst or in a similar role
• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience in client-facing roles and vendor management
• Familiarity with SDLC and requirements analysis
• Proficient in system modelling tools such as UML and flowcharts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with ERP, CRM, or business system implementation is a plus
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries preferred

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Singapore PR or citizenship is preferred
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Agile / Scrum)
• Basic programming or scripting skills (Python, Java, JavaScript)
