Taekwondo Instructor

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Taekwondo instructor to join our team on a full-time basis. As a full-time Taekwondo instructor, you will be responsible for leading and supervising training sessions, teaching students of all ages and skill levels, and contributing to the growth and development of our Taekwondo program. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Taekwondo, possess excellent teaching and communication skills, and be able to inspire and motivate students to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and deliver comprehensive Taekwondo training programs
• Teach and demonstrate Taekwondo techniques, forms, and sparring techniques
• Provide personalized instruction and feedback to students to help them improve their skills and techniques
• Assess student progress and develop individualised training plans
• Conduct group classes and private lessons for students of varying ages and belt levels
• Assist in competition events
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students during training sessions

Requirements:

• Certified Singapore Taekwondo Federation Black Belt in Taekwondo or Kukkiwon (minimum 1st Dan)
• Proven experience as a Taekwondo instructor, preferably in a full-time capacity
• Deep knowledge of Taekwondo techniques, forms, and sparring
• Strong teaching and communication skills in English
• Ability to work with students of all ages and skill levels (From Foundation to 1st Dan)
• Ability to demonstrate clearly all colour belts, 1st & 2nd poom/dan poomsae and ability to correct the students where necessary
• Passionate about inspiring and motivating students
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
• Singaporean citizen or eligible to work in Singapore

Working Hours:

Full-time position with 6 days workweek schedule, including evenings and weekends to accommodate classes and events.

Weekdays 2.30pm - 9pm

Weekend 9am - 6pm

Canberra
