Tech Support (Security System)

Responsibilities

• Perform basic network troubleshooting
• Supports the service team on the commissioning, preventive maintenance and testing of equipment as well as to provide continual technical support to customers
• Develop and design surveillance or network system with project leader
• Deliver projects according to schedule, client’s satisfaction and installation standards
• Carry out testing and commissioning of CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, Fire Alarm, AV, Public Address and other Security & Communication systems
• Provide support to Project Team on the implementation of new projects
• To troubleshoot any technical problems and provide support to users
• Analyse equipment failures to determine cause and recommend/take corrective actions
• Provide support to projects during DLP period to ensure all rectification works are completed before handover

Requirements

• O Levels, Diploma or Degree in IT Networking / Electronics & Electrical / IT Engineering / Computer Science / Telecommunication Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of related working experience in Security / CCTV industry
• Must be provision in using AI such as ChatGPT and Copilot to enhance productivity and solve work problems
• Experience in IP network-based video surveillance, door access control and intrusion system design and setup
• Experience in router setup and configuration
• A good team player, independent and able to work under pressure
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with mandarin speaking associates
• Able to handle stress; Love challenging tasks
• Love to explore new technologies
