Technical and engineering manager

Provide technical leadership to a team supporting product development.

responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of integrated control and safety systems within the organization. These systems play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of industrial processes, facilities, and operations. The Engineering Manager will lead a team of engineers and technicians, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and engage with external vendors to deliver robust, reliable, and state-of-the-art control and safety solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with people of all levels and across borders.

· Fluency in Business English & Business Chinese (verbal and written) is mandatory in order to communicate with stakeholders & business clients in China.

· Highly motivated and independent individual with the ability to make important decisions.

· Adaptability to quickly respond to business needs and strategic changes.

· Great attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong passion for Honeywell SM&PKS system engineering. Have a strong desire for continuous improvement in applying best practice and modern technologies in Honeywell SM&PKS system design.

· Excellent work ethics, valuing quality, productivity, technical innovation, and creativity.

Minimum 15 years of experience in Honeywell SM&PKS system Engineering

· Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry automation engineering or commissioning.

· Experience in Honeywell SM&PKS software applications, including application verification, and validation knowledge.

·Experience in ExxonMobil/Equinor/Shell projects

· Knowledge hardware in Honeywell PKS & SM system.

· Knowledge in Industrial Automation communication will be an advantage.

· Other desired experience/knowledge: Agile/Safe methodologies, Cybersecurity/IEC 62443, IEC 61508 Functional Safety. Safety instrument system TUV certificate holder will be an advantage.
