Technician

Responsibilities

• Report to product Engineer, assisting in diverse setup, integration, and testing tasks spanning various in vehicle system.
• Documents test procedures, data, observations, and results. Assists in planning and conducting assembly of components for prototype tools and for tests. Acquires a working knowledge of assembly tools and techniques.
• Documents setup/installation procedures and techniques.
• Perform vehicles equipment testing & setup related tasks.
• Work according to test procedures, work instructions and flow chart.
• Assist Product Engineer in troubleshooting.
• Assist Product Engineer in performing corrective actions.
• Maintaining general 5S/ housekeeping of workstation in test lab
• Carry out maintenance and overhaul work on in vehicles equipment, ensuring high standard of workmanship and minimize turnaround time for scheduled repairs and inspections to meet service standards and according to job order
• Carry out maintenance, repair and overhaul work on in-vehicles equipment to ensuring high standard of workmanship and minimize turnaround time for scheduled repairs and inspections to meet workshop’s service standards and according to job order.
• Notify Team Leader of unusual repair problems which will require major repair and replacement parts recommendation.
• Adhere to defined guidelines in regard to safety, orderliness and etc.
• Complete work order for each vehicle and unit serviced.

Requirements

At least Nitec in Electronics, and Mechatronics or relevant work experience.

Strong analytical and problem-solving acumen.

Proficient verbal and written communication skills to facilitate team interaction and job execution.

Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., C, C++, C#, LabVIEW, Python) is advantageous.

Working experience for electronic repair work is advantageous.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative team member

Excellent learning attitude and keen to pick up technical knowledge.
