Play and Unite at Canberra Plaza on 29 August 2026: Free Family Activities for ShopperLink Members
Canberra Plaza presents Play and Unite, a family-friendly event running on Saturday, 29 August 2026 from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Entry is free for all ShopperLink members, with a full programme of hands-on activities, performances, and reward-based games across the atrium level.
Attendees can enjoy free activities including DIY keychain making, balloon sculpting, and body art. The event also features live performances and interactive segments such as a gymnastics centre showcase, a face-changing performance, a mental arithmetic game, and live singing.
Popcorn and Kiddy Rides
Shoppers can redeem popcorn and kiddy rides with 50 ShopperLink Reward Points each. New ShopperLink members who sign up can enjoy both for free. The popcorn cart will be available throughout the event while stocks last.
Canvas Painting
Participants can unleash their creativity at the canvas painting station and create their own masterpiece. To participate, simply upload your artwork to the Canberra Plaza Facebook Page and the ShopperLink Malls Instagram account.
Treasure Hunt
The Treasure Hunt challenges participants to explore the mall. To qualify, shoppers must spend a minimum of $10 at retail stores or $20 at the supermarket in a single receipt. The receipt must be dated within three days before the event date. Participants must also follow the Canberra Plaza Facebook Page and the ShopperLink Malls Instagram account. Completing the Treasure Hunt earns participants a prize.
Lucky Spin
Shoppers who complete the Treasure Hunt qualify for a chance at the Lucky Spin, where they can win exciting prizes. Participants must also follow, like, and share the Canberra Plaza Facebook Page to be eligible. Additionally, spending a minimum of $10 in a single receipt at the supermarket entitles shoppers to a $5 supermarket voucher.
