I have no idea why this has so many bad reviews. :( I'm leaving a review here to say that I love their corn so much! I don't know what they put in it, but it's so good! I'm looking forward to trying their mint jelly, but their Golden Beauty is pretty good. I also love the lychee pop.
"I would like to give my feedback regarding Canberra Plaza. I think the service crew there may be part-timers, as I see them mostly on Saturdays or Sundays. Two of the service crew have very long fringes and don't do anything with them, letting them hang down and cover their faces. This is very unhygienic. I hope DO QOO will take action regarding this matter.
Thanks."
The staff was very rude and unfriendly. They mumbled, making it impossible to understand them. When asked to repeat themselves, they became visibly annoyed. The photography skills were awful; the pictures were ugly and dark. They insisted it would take 30 minutes to collect the photos. Considering how ugly the pictures were, it didn't seem like they needed that much time to edit. I will not be coming back.
The staff was nice when taking the photo, but when they showed it, it was on the small camera screen. I couldn't see the details of my eyes. When I called to ask if I could retake the photo, the staff said they couldn't retake it unless the photo was rejected by the government and they received a letter as proof. Very poor experience. I will not recommend them.
Do not take passport or ID photographs here at the Canberra Plaza outlet. The images are terrible, and the lighting setup is a joke. It was a total waste of $16. Seriously, just don’t.
Unpleasant experience at Northpoint...
Reasons: I bought a photo frame for $18 plus, but it was dirty and the metal hook was rusty. The lady in charge wasn't friendly and told me to clean it myself.
When I got home, I cleaned it and discovered the hook was still rusty.
I made a trip back to Canberra to explain the situation to Ms. Belle at Northpoint. She exchanged the photo frame without issue. Many thanks to her for helping.
It's too bad I only remembered to read reviews after visiting this place. The passport photo-taking and editing "skills" are almost non-existent. They charged $21, too. 😒🙄 The editing was unnatural, and staff claimed they didn't have the original photo, even though the photo was taken just the day before. Okay, what can I say? Again, avoid this place at all costs unless you can live with a terribly edited photo, or have spare cash to retake the photos elsewhere. Don't bother.
