"Got my mum’s LPA and AMD done here. The queue system is fantastic. The number of people in the queue is displayed on a TV screen, so you know exactly how many patients are ahead of you. You'll get an SMS alert when it’s almost your turn, allowing you to grab some food at the nearby food court while waiting.
Dr. Chong was extremely patient and detailed in explaining both the LPA and AMD to my mum, ensuring she understood the legal implications before signing.
The service staff at the reception were also very friendly.
Highly recommended."
Staff Annie & Rachel are very professional, and you can feel their warmth and patience when interacting with them. They make you feel very welcome and make my day. Thumbs up for the excellent job they do! 👍
Thank you for going above and beyond for your patient, Doctor Chong Jia An.
My mum and I are truly appreciative of your assistance and generosity in taking the time to go through her LPA in great clarity. Obviously, the effort with the elderly is comparatively doubled, but he was very patient and ensured she understood the terms and conditions. He explained things in a way that was easily relatable for an older person.
I would certainly recommend MyDoctor@Canberra clinic for LPA; I learned a few important things myself as he explained. The genuineness he shows for his patients is a huge plus. Great job, Doc!
First time at the clinic (decided to give it a try) as there was a long queue at the usual clinic I visit. The receptionist was not welcoming and didn't even make eye contact when asking for my NRIC. Already feeling very unwell, I didn't appreciate this lacklustre service attitude. There was no empathy at all. I decided to leave the clinic without registering and just queue at my usual clinic. I suggest visiting VivaMedical at Level 2. Now I understand why one clinic is empty and the other has a long queue.
The queue management leaves a lot to be desired. I registered at 9 am, receiving an SMS indicating two patients ahead.
Through the HealthHub website, I noticed the number of patients ahead kept increasing to four or five, reducing to three, and then going back to four.
I went to the clinic to ask, and the receptionist said they would ask the doctor.
Five minutes later, the receptionist said they would move me to the next appointment.
At 10:35 am, more than 1.5 hours later, another patient went in, and I still saw three patients ahead of me.
If you're visiting this clinic, please note that "two patients ahead" may still mean a wait of more than 1.5 hours, as they will insert patients into the queue ahead of you.
"This is one of the best clinics. The staff is super friendly, and they treat you like family, offering reminders and well wishes. The doctor is also super cool, friendly, and efficient, explaining things in a very simple way, unlike some who use overly complex scientific jargon."
The queuing system was horrible. Initially, I saw I was 3rd in the queue, and I monitored my number closely. To my surprise, my queue number kept getting pushed back. I approached the staff and asked why. She explained that patients in front had missed their turn and were being slotted back in ahead of me. This showed a total lack of respect for patients' time, especially those who watch the queue closely to avoid missing their turn.
A good clinic with a harmonious environment. The doctor in charge is understanding and patiently explains things if you have concerns. The three counter staff are attentive, helpful, and friendly on every visit.
Ordered a set that came with curry fish head and two dishes. I upgraded the fish head, but it was disappointing. The fish was hard, and not all parts were cooked. I found a fish scale or two. It seemed like frozen fish. The curry was okay, but not to my liking. Two stars for the issues. If you like curry fish head, please go to the nearest coffee shop; they serve better food.
