The staff are efficient and friendly, and they stay open late, making it a good place to buy last-minute snacks. The chocolate scones are pretty good but rather expensive at $4.50 for six small pieces. Thankfully, there were plenty of chocolate chips, and each bite is full of chocolatey goodness.

The BreadTalk outlet is the usual one, found almost everywhere. I recently bought some scones, and while the raisin ones were good, you should avoid the cheese scones, as they were very dry and inedible. The service was, however, excellent.

Went there on May 11th around 6:15 PM and was served by two young ladies. They were really friendly, polite, and enthusiastic. I appreciate the good service they provided. Keep up the good work!

"There were a lot of flies in the display case on the food."

BreadTalk in Canberra Plaza. The taste and quality are great, but the prices have been slowly rising.

I am a Canberra resident and would like to compliment this Breadtalk outlet in Canberra. Due to our household needs, we have made purchases from Breadtalk Canberra almost every day for the last 5+ years. Staff Rong and Vi have been very friendly and warm in servicing us. Whenever there are new products in the store, they also promptly introduce them to us. Compared to other Breadtalk outlets and nearby bakeries, we much prefer to make our purchases at the Canberra outlet. We have noticed that the Canberra team maintains the store very well: it is bright and always sparkling clean, trays and tongs are always clean, breads are neatly displayed and constantly well replenished, and the quality and appearance of the breads are always uniform, appealing, fresh, and well baked. Services are fast and highly efficient at the counter too; they even take extra care and effort to pack our purchases gently and nicely instead of rushing. Staff and even your chefs are always very approachable, smiling, and welcoming. It's very nice to see them working as a team (regardless of their positions), helping each other out, especially when the store gets busy. I hope this Google review reaches headquarters and that credit goes where it is due. Please keep up the good job, and may other outlets take reference from them in maintaining the high quality and service standards of Breadtalk.

I'd like to compliment Su Zhen for her passion and patience with customers at work.

Just bought some bread from BreadTalk, Canberra Plaza. The staff told me I needed to pay 10 cents for a plastic bag. OMG! Buying bread, I certainly need a bag; otherwise, how would I carry it? It seems that when the recycle and reduce plastic bag campaign started, the companies just took the chance to reduce their costs and make more profits. 😒🙄

Went in the morning to buy food for my family, but I noticed the shutter was half open, with a staff member inside. I went to ask if the store was open, and she just stared at me. I asked again, and she said in Chinese that the store was open. I waited to see if she would ask me to help open the shutter or open it herself, but she just continued doing her own things. I then noticed there weren't any youtiao yet, so I wanted to ask if she could make some so I could purchase them. I tried to get her attention, but she seemed to glance at me and then proceeded to ignore me. Terrible place. I didn’t manage to get her name, but she was a Chinese staff member who seemed really unhappy and unwilling to provide basic service or replies.
