I always get my sushi takeout from here, about 2-3 times a week. The sushi here tastes and is prepared better compared to the Northpoint branch (where the rice feels mushy and sushi isn't nicely placed). Also, the staff here is always pleasant and friendly, compared to the 5 times I've been to the Northpoint branch (where they were always unhappy and gave me an attitude). Just one thing to improve is the lack of sushi variety after 7 PM; most of the time, I can't get my favorite salmon sushi 😞. Other than that, I love getting my dinner takeout here!

I am a regular customer at this shop and have no problem using my POSB debit card. Today, I presented my POSB debit card, expiring in 2027. The lady, called Moyan, did not know how to process the debit card and kept saying it was not working. If Sushi Express is not fulfilling this deal willingly, then don't display the POSB deal. The way this lady, called Moyan, speaks to the customers is impolite and unfriendly. Highly not recommended!!! 😡😡😡 I will not be going back!

The lady has an attitude issue. We asked about the promotion in the shop, which involved a review. She didn't even reply to us. She just kept quiet. This showed she knew nothing and was not interested in promoting the company's campaign. Horrible attitude.

Here's the lightly edited review: I had a fantastic experience at Canberra Sushi Go Go! I visited in the late afternoon yesterday and was greeted by the lovely staff member, Kok Chin, who welcomed me with a warm smile. Despite being busy and working alone, she took pride in her job and made my day with her exceptional customer service. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the service was excellent even during a busy time. The prices were also very reasonable. Thank you, Kok Chin, for making my visit so enjoyable!

My experience today at Canberra Plaza Gogo Sushi: While I was queuing to make payment, I noticed a promotion tag at the counter offering $1 off with a minimum spend of $12. When it was my turn to pay, I saw my total was exactly $12, so I informed the counter person and pointed to the tag. She then told me to wait a minute and called for her superior. The superior arrived and explained that the promotion required a review (a survey). I agreed to do so and stepped aside to scan the code for the review, allowing others to make their payments first. Just a few seconds after I accessed the review website, he suddenly added that the $1 off (with a minimum $12 spend) was only eligible for the next purchase. So I said 'never mind' and just paid the total bill of $12. I was a bit unhappy with the service because the promotion tag did not clearly state that the offer was only for a next purchase, and the superior had not explained this in detail earlier.
