I had a wonderful experience at this location! The staff were incredibly polite and friendly, especially one team member who went out of her way, brightening the atmosphere with balloons and a cheerful attitude. Her warm smile and kind service made the visit extra special. Thank you for creating such a welcoming environment!

Two feedback points from me today, 10/12/2024:
I ordered a burger. First time I've been served with a cup of warm water to go with my fish burger. + Point.
Staff never asked if I had the McDonald's app to collect points, and hence I always forget to collect points at this branch. - Point.

I have to acknowledge that 8 out of 10 times, service and staff here get the job done well. However, my order today, on April 13th, really left me disappointed. I ordered through the mobile app for breakfast at around 10:30 AM. When I went to collect my order, they said they had run out of hash browns! Weekend breakfast is served until 12:00 PM, and it wasn't even close to that time, yet they had already run out of hash browns?! This is a gross oversight by the management team. I don't know whether to blame the manager or whoever is supplying them, but surely you must have a surplus for an item as popular as your hash browns, especially on a Sunday when more people are ordering. I am severely disappointed; you need to do better.

Orders always take a very long time, whether the restaurant is crowded or not. Not only that, each time I get takeout from this outlet, there's always a mistake. I ordered through the mobile app and did some shopping at NTUC. When I returned, the food wasn't ready, so I walked around and came back for my order later.
I ordered a McGriddles Stack, which was meant to come with two sausages and bacon, but I was given a normal McGriddle Sausage instead. The Milo was even more diluted, and I ordered it without ice because it's always diluted.
This wasn't the first time my order had been packed incorrectly. Especially when you're hungry, you can't walk all the way back to exchange it. Nor do you have the time to unpack everything in front of them to check the order. It makes no sense that these staff members are getting paid to pack our orders. I hope that every staff member can double-check before handing over the order. I don't mind waiting; I just want my order to be correct.

I waited nearly 45 minutes for my food at Canberra McDonald’s, which is unacceptable for a fast-food restaurant. The workers, despite being overwhelmed, were professional and hardworking. I even witnessed a staff member being shouted at, which was heartbreaking to see.
The real issue here lies with the management. It’s clear they’ve failed to address the inefficiencies, leaving the staff to bear the brunt of customer frustration. Shame on the management for not stepping up to fix this and for letting their workers take the fall. Shame on you.

Here are a few options, maintaining the original intent and wording as much as possible:
**Option 1 (Slightly more formal):**
"I ordered hot Milo as part of a takeaway order. I live just two minutes away from the location. Once home, I opened it and found that instead of Milo, I had coffee with milk. My black coffee was also just a half cup, and neither drink was hot or even warm. Disappointed."
**Option 2 (Closer to original flow):**
"Ordered hot Milo as part of a takeaway order. Living just two minutes away from the location, I opened it at home to find that instead of Milo, I got coffee with milk. My black coffee was only half a cup, and both drinks were not even hot or warm. Disappointed."
**Option 3 (Minimal changes):**
"Ordered hot Milo as part of a takeaway order. Living just two minutes away from the location, I opened it at home to find that instead of Milo, I got coffee with milk. My black coffee was just half a cup, and both were not even hot or warm. Disappointed."
---
*Self-correction/Reasoning for Option 3 (my preferred choice for "minimal necessary changes"):*
* "in meals for take away" -> "as part of a takeaway order" (clarifies it was an order, "takeaway" is one word).
* "living just nearby by 2 mins from the location." -> "Living just two minutes away from the location" (clarifies "by 2 mins" to "two minutes away," removes redundancy of "nearby by").
* "While home, open it and instead Milo got coffee with milk" -> "I opened it at home to find that instead of Milo, I got coffee with milk" (clarifies who opened it, "at home" is more natural, "to find that" flows better than just "and instead").
* "my black coffee was just half cup" -> "my black coffee was just half a cup" (adds the necessary article "a").
* "both was not even hot or warm" -> "both were not even hot or warm" (corrects subject-verb agreement for "both").
* "Disappointed." -> Left as is, as it's a strong, concise sentiment.

This was the most frustrating experience I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. We waited 35 minutes for our meal. Orders placed after ours were all served, and the order numbers jumped from 24xx to 26xx. When we went to check on our order, the waitress was quite impatient. After asking a third time, she told us it would take another 15 minutes. When we asked which specific item was taking so long, she went back and retrieved our order in one minute. I wonder why they didn't admit to the disorganized service and having missed our order.

Hi Nadia and team, It was a wonderful experience my child had during their recent birthday party at your establishment. The event was nothing short of extraordinary, and I want to commend your team for their exceptional service.
First and foremost, the prompt and efficient service in serving the food was truly commendable. It ensured that all the kids had a great time without any delays. The quality of the food was excellent, and everyone enjoyed the meal.
What made the day even more special was the clean and inviting atmosphere at your venue. It provided a safe and hygienic environment for the kids to enjoy. The proximity of the playground added to the excitement, allowing the children to have even more fun.
I must share that when I was a child, hosting a birthday party at McDonald’s was a dream beyond our means. Now, as a parent, I am thrilled to be able to provide my child with the opportunity to create cherished memories at McDonald’s. Your affordable and delightful party packages have made it possible for us to give our child the childhood experiences we always wished for.
McDonald’s holds a special place in our hearts, and your commitment to creating a memorable birthday celebration for our child has deepened our appreciation for your brand. Thank you for helping us make our child’s day truly special and for enabling us to create lasting memories of joy and laughter.
With warm regards and immense gratitude,
Father of child on 7/10 (3:30 PM slot)

I waited 35 minutes for my takeout order during the dinner period. With the increase in residents and families in Canberra, this branch has been struggling to cope with the surge in demand and orders. This is by no fault of the staff, as it was clear that they were highly professional in their service but were simply overwhelmed. I would highly encourage McDonald's SG HQ to review the capacity of this branch and look at increasing its ability to cater to the rising number of orders.
