I usually don’t leave reviews! But I am appalled that they cheated my husband out of $2.30 for selling the wrong product. My husband is a vegetarian and he asked for red bean pau! He asked 2-3 times, but the aunty working on 10/5/24 at 7pm said it was red bean pau and sold it to him. He came back home to realize it wasn't red bean pau. I don’t understand why they would do this. It’s very far for us to go back and ask them about it as well. Please. No wonder you guys have low reviews.

Poor attitude. Ordered via GrabFood and took away. They either gave me noodles without the extra noodles I paid for. The server was not happy when I double-checked the order. The customer before me also double-checked, and the server was unhappy with her too. You can review the CCTV footage to see her reaction when the other lady and I double-checked our orders, due to previous poor experiences. I didn't feel like ordering more because of the server's attitude. I really won't be a customer again.

"Had their Mee Hoon Kueh 面粉粿 today. I was quite disappointed with the portion size and the doneness of the noodles. They were pretty uncooked inside and didn't taste "al dente," if that was the intention. Nonetheless, I'm still happy we have a go-to place for buns, dim sum, and Hong Kong delicacies here in Canberra Plaza. The food quality has plenty of room for improvement."

"Only a third of the bowl for chili pan mee, and no egg yolk was given? The food quality in this store is abysmal."

"Not the usual items found elsewhere. This is the only Nam Kee Pau I'm aware of that has ccf, shui kueh, etc. However, they were all a disappointment. While I understand the need for innovation and having extra items on their menu, they forgot to focus on the quality. I would not recommend trying their other non-dim sum items."

Based on the first and second pictures, you can see why I'm giving this a 1-star rating.

"During non-peak hours, with literally only me as a customer, they still gave me the wrong order? I asked for mee hoon kueh, and I don't like ban mian. It's too far (and hot) for me to walk back to change it. The noodles were also soggy, even though they were separate. Standard has dropped :("

The auntie was very rude, and the male cook was holding the dough without washing his hands after using his phone. Pretty disgusting.

The staff was rude and the restaurant seemed understaffed. The female staff was constantly serving customers who wanted to purchase the buns (Bao). She took two orders in front of me (ban Mian) and then my order, but continued to shout, "Who else needs Bao?" Then, halfway through cooking the noodles, she went to serve the customers buying the Baos. My noodles ended up extremely soggy and gross. There was barely any meat in my noodles. What an expensive, awful experience. Note this was a takeaway order, and I live less than a 10-minute drive from home. I will not buy from this outlet again. The Plaza Singapura outlet is still the best.

"Very poor attitude. Ordered via GrabFood and took the food away (dabao). They either gave me noodles without the extra noodles I paid for, or added the extra noodles at additional cost. The server was not happy when I double-checked the order. The previous customer also double-checked, and she was unhappy. You can review the CCTV footage to see how she reacted when the other lady and I double-confirmed our order due to past poor experiences. I didn't want to order more because of the server's attitude. I really will not patronize this place again."
