Luke attends taekwondo at this centre. Ever since he started attending the lessons, he has grown in confidence and always speaks fondly of his coaches after lessons. The coaches in the centre are the kindest, most patient, and most encouraging, especially for the junior classes. Truly no regrets signing Luke up for the lessons, and it's been the best thing for Luke in 2024!
Enrolled my daughter in taekwondo classes at Kickmatics since Nov 2023. Coach Zong Lin and Coach Ashley are very warm and welcoming. My daughter looks forward to going to her TKD class every week. Recently, she went for her grading, and it was such a good experience. Coach Zong Lin really prepared the students well for the grading. Highly recommended!
Here's the edited review:
"In my boy’s words, "I like Taekwondo, I learn to defend myself. Coach Zong Lin is patient and very nice to us." These sentiments speak volumes about the positive impact and the dedication of the coaches.
Coach Zong Lin creates a welcoming and supportive environment for the students. I particularly appreciate Coach Zong Lin's diligence in ensuring the safety and well-being of the students. After every session, he oversees the students at the front door to ensure they are picked up by the right guardian.
Coach Ashley has been supporting us on administrative matters. She is friendly, helpful, and responsive to any concerns.
I highly recommend Kickmatics Taekwondo to parents who are looking to cultivate confidence and essential defense skills through Taekwondo for their child."
I wanted to buy two of their LOZ brick sets, which were shown to be $6.90 each. When making payment, they charged $9.90. When the sign was shown to the staff, she just shrugged it off as an admin mistake without offering any apology.
While the sum involved is not huge, and I did not purchase the items in the end, I am a bit disappointed by the lack of service standards.
Very nice and patient salesperson. His introduction was very good. Satisfied with my purchase and will definitely go back to him for more gadgets! 👍🏻
The male shop assistant, with a not-too-smooth-surfaced face, told the kids not to roll the plane on the floor. And then he snatched the plane from the kid’s hand and placed it back. He had a not-very-welcoming look when he saw kids meddling with the toys for sale. Hello? Come on, if you want to sell, let the kids touch and play with them. Aren't display toys without boxes meant to be touched and played with before we purchase them? If you don’t let them touch, then I suggest you cling wrap all individually and keep them. Or place 'DO NOT TOUCH' SIGNAGE. I hope you don’t have a great week, BRO.
Very patient and friendly shopkeeper. I wandered in at 9pm on a sleepy Monday evening, and he was proactive in suggesting the right product for me. He even checked that I got the colour I wanted. Awesome service!
Here are a few options, keeping the changes minimal:
**Option 1 (Most minimal):**
"Had the mee rubus, not bad. The store owner **was** super friendly."
*(Adds only one word to fix the second sentence's grammar.)*
**Option 2 (Slightly more polished, still very minimal):**
"The mee rubus **was** not bad. The store owner **was** super friendly."
*(Makes both sentences complete, implying the reviewer had it without explicitly saying "I had.")*
**Option 3 (Connecting the first thought slightly):**
"Had the mee rubus; it was not bad. The store owner **was** super friendly."
*(Uses a semicolon to connect closely related independent clauses, a bit more formal but still concise.)*
---
I recommend **Option 2** as it makes both sentences grammatically complete and easy to read, while changing very few words.
**Edited review (using Option 2):**
"The mee rubus was not bad. The store owner was super friendly."
