Amazing dim sum place that's a hidden gem in the North. Specialising in Teochew dishes, they also serve a fabulous Dim sum brunch during the weekends. The Dim sum menu is a bit small, but all the classics are available and good. The har gow, Siew mai, and XO fried carrot cake are especially tasty. For an additional treat, call in advance to pre-order their oyster omelette (which is usually only available during weekdays) to complete the meal. Attentive and efficient service staff rounds off a delightful dining experience each time we are here. Highly recommended.

Good Teochew cuisine, and their food is tasty and 够味. It's a great place for company or family reunions. Staff are friendly. However, the aftertaste leaves you feeling thirsty, so I guess that's why it's yummy.

On February 6, a group of eight colleagues gathered at Chin Lee Tea & Dine for a festive Lou Hei lunch to celebrate Chinese New Year. As a Teochew restaurant, it emphasizes a healthier style of cooking. We ordered a variety of dishes, including a uniquely prepared Lou Hei. Notably, the meal did not leave us feeling thirsty, which was a pleasant surprise. I was especially pleased to enjoy the yam paste dessert with a vegan option, meaning it was served without pork lard. The service was excellent, with attentive servers who promptly replaced our plates and ensured our tea was constantly refilled. Overall, we had a sumptuous and satisfying meal, well worth the price. No regrets!

Good place for trying out Teochew food. The steamed pomfret cost us $105 and could have been much better as it was tough and not tender. What a pity, since steamed Teochew dishes are supposed to be their signature. I liked the gelatinous pig trotter as it was very well done. The qinglong vegetable was good too, as were the Zhejiang pork ribs. We also ordered salted vegetable soup, which felt very homely. I did not quite like the fried oyster omelette and the fried Teochew kway teow, though a friend highly recommended them. We were a party of five, so it was fun to try the different dishes. It was my second time, and my first for dinner.

Food **** Price *** Ambience **** Service **** First time here, and I must say it's pretty spacious (not cramped and not noisy). The food is quite good. I love the coffee spare ribs; you could smell them the moment the aluminum foil is unfolded. Simply one of the best I've ever had. The orh nee dessert is also worth a mention. It looks very different from what I usually get out there, and it's really smooth and not gelat. The oyster omelette is also quite good, featuring plump, juicy oysters, and the flavor is quite good. (The pricing for the oyster omelette is on the high side, in my opinion.) Do note that it's only available on weekdays, but we tried our luck, and they prepared it upon our request. The cai po fried kway teow is a simple yet flavourful dish. Good wok hei as well. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. I will go back again to try the other dishes :)

**2nd Visit:** January 7, 2023 11:45 AM Pre-CNY lunch Food was good all around: prawn roll (hay zhou), 大菜 (stewed mustard), roast chicken, deep-fried soon hock fish, stir-fried asparagus, 炒菜谱粿条, lo hei, and yam paste dessert. **First Visit:** One of the undiscovered Teochew restaurant gems in the North. They offer very good dim sum and other dishes. It's also a tea shop where you can order tea and have a nice chat.

My favourite hangout for dim sum. I have been visiting the Bedok branch for many, many years, and the standards have not dropped for this new outlet. Their signature Orh Nee connects with my Teochew roots. Suckling pig has to be pre-ordered!

Here's an edited version: Had a great lunch with parents after their strong recommendation of the restaurant's authentic and delicious Teochew cuisine. They had been there more than 5 times! Conveniently, the restaurant is also located in a heartland mall and right next to Canberra MRT. This is a great choice if you are craving that authentic and nostalgic Teochew cuisine at affordable prices.

We were familiar with Chin Lee from its original branch at Bedok. We were happy to learn that they opened another branch much nearer to our place, so we decided to try the food there for our CNY reunion dinner. The place is well-furnished and comfortably spacious. The food was palatable and matched the standards of the original branch. The staff were friendly and closely tended to our every request, as well as helping to serve our food in portions. The Braised Duck, Crab Meat and Fish Maw Soup, Fried Prawn Balls, and Teochew Kway Tiao are a must-order. We also enjoyed the Steamed Prawns, Scallops and Asparagus, and the Steamed Codfish, which were fresh and delicious. It was a pity that the Oyster Pancake and Chilled Crabs were sold out that day. We finished our dinner with the Chilled Mango Puree, Coconut Ice Cream, and the Signature Teochew dessert, Yam Paste. All in all, it was a satisfying dining experience for our family.
