I just bought a rice ball today at about 7:07 PM from a thin woman who sounded Indonesian or Chinese. When I arrived, she was cleaning the pancake section. When I said hi to her, she was already giving an attitude or a vibe as if she didn't like that I was there. She just said, 'Order,' so I told her I wanted a rice ball, all peanut. She just remained silent and made the order. After she cashed me out rudely, I asked her, 'All peanut, right?' She then rudely said, 'You want mixed? Otherwise I will change it.' Then I said, 'Okay, you change it then.' After she changed it angrily, she threw my spoon inside the plastic bag, with no 'sorry' or 'thank you.' Very bad service.
I normally wouldn't give a bad review, and I understand humans have their bad days. However, every time I am here, I get rude, impatient service from this Chinese lady, even though I asked her politely about the menu. She speaks impatiently, as if I should know the menu inside out. I mean, come on, I didn't create the menu. On a positive note, I love the Viet coffee, and I am thankful the company offers this, which is a rare find for us plant-based people.
Bad customer service! One particular staff member was very impolite when serving me. She sounded angry, as if she were having a bad day, and I felt like it was my fault.
