I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience I had at the auto-checkout facility in your store. While using the auto-checkout, I encountered difficulties with the machine, particularly with the payment transaction. Unfortunately, I was not informed that removing items from the machine while making payment could result in the transaction being locked. The staff who assisted in unlocking the machine did not provide clear instructions, leading to further issues. I understand that using the auto-checkout may require some familiarity, but it would be greatly beneficial for customers if there were explicit instructions or warnings on the machine itself. Additionally, the staff's response was less than satisfactory, as they became rude and impatient without adequately explaining the situation. I kindly request that NTUC Canberra Plaza considers retraining its staff to handle such situations with more patience and politeness. Furthermore, providing clearer instructions at the auto-checkout machines can prevent misunderstandings and improve the overall customer experience. I hope for a positive resolution and an enhanced shopping experience at NTUC Canberra Plaza.

Quite shocked to see the condition of this wrap during my visit on 11th May. It was extremely mouldy. Best before date clearly stated as 3rd July. Would the department staff or branch manager please look into this seriously? Thank you.

The staff are so unfriendly, unhelpful, and unreasonable at the self-checkout counter! They refused to help and refused to let me go over to the cashier! They need to understand that not every customer is familiar with how the self-checkout counter/system works!

Came across a staff member named Indrani on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 7:30 PM, who was very unfriendly and pulling a long face when we approached to use the self-checkout counter. The machine stopped halfway, requiring assistance, and when I approached her, she came unwillingly to tap to proceed. When I asked if I should weigh the apples, she did not reply or acknowledge me at all but simply walked away and came back with the price sticker and handed it over to me with a black face. Come on, we don't want this kind of attitude. This is my first time encountering such a rude NTUC staff member!

I was served by Jessica Yip a few times before and found her to be curt and unfriendly. She always wore a scowl. There were no smiles, "please," or "thank you" from her when completing payment transactions, displaying a super terrible, even horrible, attitude. Seriously, NTUC should send her for retraining or place her at a non-frontline position instead of letting her ruin customers’ buying experience and mood at the Canberra outlet.
