It's been a long time since I've had A&W, and since it returned to Singapore years ago. The taste is still great, and it's a nostalgic feeling for me, growing up in the 80s and 90s. The branch at Canberra Plaza is big and has self-service kiosks. The serving and return of trays are on the opposite side of the branch, which I think is a very good move for hygiene. Price-wise, it's fair, and I highly recommend their chicken and beef burgers; they're definitely better than the usual M brand. P.S. Did you know A&W was actually the first American fast-food brand in Singapore, established way back in the 60s?

The Cream Cheese Beef Burger 🍔 was delicious 🤤. The beef patty was juicy and tender, with a generous amount of cream cheese and lots of caramelized onions. 🧅 My order was served less than 5 minutes after I placed it via kiosk. I was very impressed with their speed. However, the staff weren't smiling when I interacted with them. All of them were expressionless. It doesn't cost anything to smile at customers when serving them.

Usual A&W food fare. It's a spacious environment. I enjoyed my double fish burger.

This A&W outlet opens slightly later than the other outlets, so we drove over as we were craving some American fast food! Ordering and payment were easy using the self-service kiosk, and the food was prepared fast. And most importantly, it's yummy 😋.

Root beer is so nice. The burger is good. The food and drink collections are at two separate counters. You have to collect your food opposite the shop. To collect your drink, you have to pass the receipt to the counter staff in the shop.

Ordered the beef coney dog combo, and it was disappointing. The hotdog wasn't snappy, and the topping was cold. Even the curly fries were cold when served. Only the root beer was good.

It's good to see A&W coming back to the Singapore market. It's a nostalgic childhood fast-food place that I grew up with. The interior design is welcoming, with a spacious and family-friendly layout. The staff are friendly and attentive. I love their root beer.

Good food, conveniently located on level 1 opposite the MRT. I had the mozza burger, fried chicken, and cheeseburger. The mozza burger is awesome, with a great portion and lots of vegetables. The fried chicken is a little salty, but overall very tasty and yummy. The best part is that curly fries are served, along with a huge root beer float. The mug is satisfying to drink from. Service is decent. At an estimated $10 per person, it’s alright. The standards are above McDonald's, and slightly below Shake Shack. I will return.
