The place is small, and they don't have the things I want to buy.

Quite shocked to see the condition of this wrap during my visit on 11th May. It was extremely mouldy. Best before date clearly stated as 3rd July. Would the department staff or branch manager please look into this seriously? Thank you.

I drop by at least once a week because their selection is decent, as most necessities are available. For the freshest veggies and fruit, go earlier in the day. The staff at the self-checkout counters are friendly and extremely helpful.

Well, the cashier, an older lady, was very rude and had no courtesy at all. She spoke so aggressively, and when I said thank you, there was no reply, no smile. I think NTUC staff should be more friendly to seniors and customers. This Yishun MRT NTUC. Next time, I won't go there anymore unless I have urgent things to buy. Thumbs Down.

Nearby supermarket. Price-wise, so-so, but there's a wide range of products here.

I was standing and waiting in the line directed by a marked arrow towards the next cashier. The marked arrow was confusingly placed, which made people confused. When it was my turn, the cashier (Ms. Vineela Dasari) stopped me and told me I was coming from the wrong queue, then tried to serve another customer. In fact, I was faster than the other customer, who voluntarily yielded to me, all before the cashier stopped me. However, the cashier then complained to me about my approach. Then, I told her that the marked arrow had directed me to the cashier. Suddenly, she ignored me and did not respond at all. Thus, I asked her to call the manager. She still did not respond, so I kept asking the cashier “Excuse me” four times. Then, she pointed to a sign above her indicating "calling the manager." I was quite upset due to her impolite and dismissive attitude. Finally, the manager came to me and promised to correct the marked arrow. Please provide Ms. Vineela Dasari with some coaching sessions regarding not ignoring customer feedback and concerns.

The cashier snatched the cash as I paid her. Not surprisingly, there was no word of thanks either. As a large and established organisation like NTUC, the leader in employee matters, I think NTUC should invest in training its staff to be helpful and polite. Hopefully, NTUC would not just focus on profit-making, but on giving good service even as it has prospered.

A small supermarket, but most basic household essentials are available here. Choices are perhaps limited.

NTUC Poultry store meat is very fresh, and vegetables are fresh too. It is small, so not many things are sold there.
