Very disappointed with Dr. IVAN. I visited this clinic two days ago, and my symptoms were the same as they were 15 days ago. Fifteen days ago, I had visited them, recovered for a week, but all the symptoms returned. When I told the doctor my situation, he told me, "Don't tell me all the history; just tell me what you have today," in a very rude and disrespectful way. Here's a question: If a person is getting the same symptoms back within 15 days of the last visit, how is that not relevant? If he thinks it's not relevant, he could have politely explained why it wasn't related, instead of losing his temper. There's nothing to be fussy about; it's your job to take every symptom into consideration and give a proper explanation as to why it has occurred again and what I should do to protect myself. It's very obvious that a person who is suffering will be worried and will tell the doctor.

This is one of the two best clinics I have been to (the other one is in Bedok). From the receptionists and clinic nurses to the two doctors (Dr. Ivan and Dr. Wong), the service is excellent. The staff are patient, friendly, and approachable. Service with a smile. They answer my questions patiently and, even when busy, never brush me aside. Lots of initiative. Just today, they reminded me about using my civil service card to pay. I was grateful that the clinic was open today, even though it was a public holiday and the staff are Muslim. One of them came from Pasir Ris. On top of that, poor thing, having to work on Hari Raya Haji. Even the two doctors, Dr. Wong and Dr. Ivan, have been patient, putting me at ease and never once made me feel stupid when I ask a thousand and one questions. Professional, knowledgeable, and kind at the same time. I can say this because I have been to the clinic three times this year, including today. So, to those who feel otherwise, go to another clinic. The staff and doctors here work longer hours and even on public holidays. That in itself is already a bonus. It takes two hands to clap. I like to think that if you are nice, they will be too, if not nicer.

Went twice, different doctors, not going back. It's okay that the first diagnosis was not accurate and I had worsening symptoms despite taking all prescriptions. However, I encountered a doctor who was impatient and unwilling to listen to my symptoms during the follow-up visit. He assumed he got it all with the two questions he asked, and that's all he had to know. He stopped me from talking while I tried to highlight what he was overlooking. I left without taking any prescription he gave (for antibiotics). The diagnosis was clearly not accurate, and I won't take antibiotics prescribed by a doctor who doesn't listen to patients empathetically.

I suggest whoever reads this review, please do not go to this clinic, as it will charge higher prices than other clinics. Don't bother wasting your time here. You've been warned!

Male doctor is condescending and dismissive: Visit at your own risk.

Super lousy clinic! The counter staff are rude. I got yelled at by a staff member in front of all other patients because she said I didn't show the Great Eastern card at registration. (I was very ill and thought I only needed to show the GE card during payment.) The doctor was also rude. When he asked what symptoms I had, I replied to him, but he totally ignored me and had no patience for listening. I visited this clinic twice, and that's it! Both visits were poor experiences. Not going back ever again! Note: There are other clinics in the same plaza.

Worst experience ever. Don't come here (Canberra Plaza outlet). The front desk was super rude (a middle-aged woman with highlighted curly hair). I’m a Singaporean who was bringing my Malaysian cousin here to get her vaccination done. We walked into the clinic and told her about our situation. As my cousin wasn’t fluent in English, I asked her whether she was able to communicate with us in Chinese, and she replied, “Inside that one (the doctor) can speak Chinese” (in English). I then asked her again whether or not she could speak to us in Chinese, and she replied, “Can ah?” (in Chinese). She continued the conversation and asked for my cousin’s FIN no. and what not. She probably thought that I couldn’t understand English and mumbled pretty loudly, “All these foreigners…” (sigh). As a Singaporean with a Malaysian family, I don’t think us “FOREIGNERS” should be looked down upon at all. We were even speaking very politely to her, and she gave us that response? Very much disappointed.

The nurses and receptionists are always very nice and welcoming, but I always seem to see a different doctor each time. Personally, I prefer to see the same doctor, especially since I'm returning to the same clinic. Most of the doctors, however, don't make you feel at ease. There was even one who fumbled so badly with the biohazard bag for my PCR test. However, my bad experience today sealed the deal, and I'm never going back there. The clinic was scheduled to remain open until 2:30 PM. I rushed down immediately after a work call and arrived at 12:30 PM. However, I was denied registration because there were other patients (I saw only two) and the doctor wanted to go for lunch on time. I wouldn't have minded so much if this were a standalone disappointing incident, but I think they've already accumulated enough for me to safely say I'll never return.

The two ladies at reception are the most friendly and welcoming nurses I've ever experienced. They are soft-spoken and calming, which is really important when you are sick and feeling unwell. One lady went out of her way to let me know my medication was ready while I waited outside the clinic. During my visit, there was a Mandarin-speaking couple. The staff were also very nice to them, even though they couldn't communicate in Mandarin. Dr. Tan is efficient and clear in explaining the cause of sickness and providing instructions.

The clinic is new and clean, and it is also very convenient as it is located on Level 2 of Canberra Plaza. However, the consultation experience was poor. Firstly, I requested the doctor to speak Mandarin, but he gave me a displeased look. Secondly, the doctor requested me to go for a swab test the next morning, which I rejected. However, he still submitted an appointment time for the swab test for 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM but did not tell me. Thirdly, when I asked about the venue for the swab test, he refused to tell me, only mentioning it was "not too far" and a "convenient place." This was despite him knowing the venue, as he was the one who submitted the time and venue for the swab test. It was only after my consultation with the doctor, when I collected my medicine at the reception counter, that I learned the time (which was for the morning) and the venue. Overall, this will be my first and last time visiting this clinic. I do not recommend this clinic to anyone.
